How it works
Enter the issuer and payer names, receipt number, date, amount, payment method and description. Add optional notes or a local PNG/JPEG logo. Review the preview, print or download a PDF. Reset clears personal entries.
Formula and methodology
The receipt shows the entered payment amount rounded to two decimal places. It does not calculate tax or reconcile payments. Zero amounts are allowed for a clearly described record; confirm that the receipt accurately represents the transaction.
Example
A receipt for ₹2,500 received by UPI for a consultation records the amount, payer, date, description and method you enter. The tool does not check a bank account.
Assumptions and limits
No payment verification, accounting ledger, sequential numbering or storage is provided. Downloaded PDFs are raster images. Optional logos stay in the browser and are limited to PNG/JPEG, 2 MB and 2048 pixels per side.
Frequently asked questions
Does the receipt prove that money was received?
It records what the issuer enters. It does not independently verify or initiate a payment.
Will the receipt be saved online?
No. Download or print a copy before leaving or resetting the page.
