How to use this template

Open the template and go to the ‘Commercial Quotation’ tab. Update your organization details and client particulars. Enter the quotation date and valid-until date. List the proposed deliverables, quantities, rates, and any offered discounts in Rows 17–26. Review the commercial terms in Rows 29–31 and adjust payment milestones to match your proposal. Export to PDF or print to deliver a polished proposal to your prospective client.

Formulas and methodology

Taxable Amount = MAX(0, (Quantity × Rate) − Discount). Applicable GST = ROUND(Total Taxable Value × 18%, 2). Total Quoted Amount = Total Taxable Value + Applicable GST. Formula cells are color-coded to guide data entry.

No. A quotation is a proposed estimate of costs and terms. It does not demand payment or replace a statutory tax invoice.

Yes. All terms and notes cells are fully editable to suit your specific service contracts and business terms.

Can I convert this quotation into an invoice?

Yes. Once accepted by the client, the item quantities and rates can be copied into our GST Invoice Template or online Invoice Generator.
