Frequently asked questions

How is cash flow different from net profit?

Net profit measures accounting revenue minus expenses including unpaid credit and depreciation. Cash flow tracks physical cash arriving in and leaving your bank account.

Can the closing balance be negative?

Yes. A negative closing balance indicates that planned disbursements exceed opening cash plus receipts, signaling an urgent need for credit or cost reduction.

Does this workbook include macros?

No. It uses simple, robust SUM and subtraction formulas for maximum reliability and security.
