How it works

Enter your business and customer details, a manual invoice number and date. Add up to 100 line items, each with a quantity, unit price, optional discount and a tax rate. Choose a tax label (VAT, GST, sales tax or none) for display, then review the live preview and print or download the PDF. Reset clears all entered data.

Formula and methodology

Line subtotal = quantity × unit price. Taxable value = line subtotal − line discount. Line tax = taxable value × tax rate ÷ 100, rounded to the smallest currency unit per line. Grand total = sum of taxable values plus sum of line taxes. The tax label is display-only: no country-specific tax rules, rates or registration formats are applied.

Example

Two items at 1,000 each with a 100 line discount and a 20% tax rate give a taxable value of 1,900, tax of 380 and a total of 2,280.

Assumptions and limits

You choose the tax rate; the tool does not determine which tax applies to a sale, verify tax IDs, calculate multiple tax components, or issue e-invoices. Amounts are in the currency you select, which changes only the symbol and number format and never converts amounts. PDFs are images of the preview. Optional PNG/JPEG logos are checked locally and not uploaded. Navigating away loses unsaved entries.

Does this apply my country’s tax rules?

No. It applies the flat tax rate you enter to each line. Confirm the correct rate and invoice requirements with official guidance or a qualified professional.

Can I use a different currency?

Yes. Use the currency selector to change the symbol and number format. Amounts are never converted.
